My New True Love

It was just last month when I discovered the joys of digital scrapbooking. And since then, my PC and I are inseparable! I have never expected to become so addicted to this stuff, but I'm just glad I am. This hobby motivated me into organizing our 6 years worth of pictures! And it took me almost 2 weeks of sleepless nights before I finally put everything in order from the dates and places as to where the pictures were taken up to tagging or putting keywords to each picture for easy searching (Thank God for Picasa!!!)

Anyway, below are two of my first works.

I love the layout with circles and documenting different stages of your son's life! I must do this for my new granddaughter!

Oh Shelly, if only I had just six years of photos to sort through! I have over 35 years worth and it just seems so overwhelming for me, but finally got that I need to start with the present and work my way backwards. Only things is, I wish to present each one of my six children with a book about them and I need to get moving on this project in the VERY near future!

Love your work!

Hugs,
Linda :D

LOL, you have found my early works!

I so agree, Linda... sorting pictures is no easy task and it can be very overwhelming! But you are right, start with the present and work your way backwards... I think that is an awesome game plan :-)

If you want to make a book for your kids, try checking out this site: http://www.blurb.com/ (if you haven't heard of them yet). I love them, they have affordable rates and discounts for multiple book orders.

Let me know what happens.

Take care,
Shelly
